Cannot understand why this is not #1 in Stirling.... Fantastic little diner. Superb quality food and all cooked to order. We love Sunday brunch there: the pancakes are to die for and it is so warm and cosy inside. The dinner menu is eclectic and imaginative with top quality ingredients, making it very good value for money. Despite its quirky look - this is definitely not fast food. It is a quality dining establishment and deserves the five stars totally. Cannot wait to visit again...

Gabes Diner comes as a real surprise and not what you expect from the outside. It is situated in the old bus shelter next to the cinema complex and is a little gem. Staff are lovely - welcoming, friendly and helpful . The food can almost be compared to fine dining without the hefty price tag. I have now visited here twice and on both occasions was not disappointed.

Thank you so much for putting on an excellent set menu for us and our friends on Thursday night on the evening before our wedding. Our friends had all travelled and we wanted them to experience the best Stirling has to offer and you delivered! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, all our friends loved it! I suspect if they we local you may have inherited a few more regulars, I am sure on their next visit they will be looking forward to coming back. Thanks for Tracy, Hugh and your staff for the warm welcome and the great food!

Popped in for breakfast a couple of days ago. Ordered the scrambled eggs with one of the nicest black puddings I have tasted in along time. Staff were friendly and there was a roaring log burner on the go. A must go and see, do not be put off with its proximity to the retail park tjis place is a little gem. I will be back.

We have been going to Gabe Diner for years as it is where we meet our son for lunch or coffee when we visit him from our home in Dumfriesshire. They have really upped their game recently. We were there yesterday - I can recommend the risotto which I had. Others had the fish which was delicious and fresh in crunchy batter. The chargrilled chicken (free range!) burger was fabulous - do not be put off by the term -burger-! The chips are hand cut and gorgeous! Next time I fancy the acorn fed, outdoor reared Liberian pork or the clay pot roasted, smoked lamb mmm...... The menu is extensive. The desserts looked great but I never have room for anything but the coffee which is great! The service is very good - friendly, informal but professional. We have started to book as I would hate to miss out on a table!
